1. Calvin Harris – $150,000+ per show
Calvin Harris has earned the most money of all the DJ’s in the electronic dance music scene. He mainly earned this on a contract that he signed in February to play more than 70 performances (divided over a two-year period) at the Las Vegas club Hakkasan. Additionally to this contract, he has earned money from songwriting and producing for stars like Rihanna, Kelis, Ne-Yo and Tinie Tempah. All in all Calvin Harris has earned a whopping $46 million in 2013
2. Tiësto – $200,000-$400,000 per show
Tiësto has earned more in 2013 than ever before. The DJ, who was born in the Netherlands, has made a very lucrative deal with Las Vegas club Hakkasan in the summer of 2013. He performed 140 shows last year and earned a healthy $32 million.
3. David Guetta – $150,000-$250,000 per show
David Guetta is so popular, that even you probably know more about him than we do. He has made a name for himself, by all the top 40 hits he has produced in collaboration with many of the best musicians in the world. Just to name a few; The Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Kelly Rowland, Akon and Rihanna. David Guetta is now 45 years old, but he is not slowing down. In fact he did more than 120 performances in 2013. David Guetta has earned $30 million in 2013.
4. Swedish House Mafia – $400,000+ per show
Even though Swedish House Mafia have ended their career in March 2013, they still made enough to be in the top five of our list. The three members of Swedish House Mafia–Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello are now pursuing individual careers.

Deadmau5 has earned $21 million in 2013. He has earned this not only with his own recordlabel Mau5trap, where he has cashed in on recorded music, but also on massive merchandising deals. And of course the nightly earnings in excess of $200,000 per show in various clubs, festivals and the Las Vegas club Hakkasan, has helped a little..
6. Avicii – $150,000-$200,000 per show
The career of Avicii is notthing less than extraordinary. As a teenager he taught himself to produce music using pirated software. Now at 23, the Swedish DJ is the youngest artist on our list and almost made it in to the top 5!

7. Afrojack – $75,000-$100,000 per show
Afrojack is also from the Netherlands, just like Tiësto and has earned $18 million in 2013. He has produced tracks for manu of the worlds top musicians like Pitbull, Chris Brown, Steve Aoki (also on this list), Ne-yo and Eva Simons. Afrojack now is 25 and owns his own recordlabel, Wall Recordings.
8. Armin van Buuren – $100,000-$150,000 per show
And yet again, a dutchman in the list. Armin van Buuren has earned $17 million in 2013. Even though Armin has been around for ages, he is still seen as one of the world’s best performers in the electronic music industry. In 2013 Armin has performed nearly 120 shows around the world.
9.Skrillex – $150,000+ per show
Skrillex has earned $16 million in 2013. Mainly by performing at the Wynn’s XS nightclub in Las Vegas, where he earns six figures per show and where he has his own residency. But he also earns big on recorded music. On the 55th edition of the Grammy Awards Skrillex has won 3 Grammy’s, just like the year before. One was for the best dance number, Bangarang, one was for the best dance/elektronic album (which has the same name) Bangarang and one was for the best remix Promises, which he made together with the band Nero.
10. Kaskade – $100,000+ per show
Kaskade has performed more than 130 shows in 2013, most of them as part of his “Freaks of Nature” Tour. In 2010 Kaskade has signed a deal with Encore Beach Club and now performs regularly at Cosmopolitan’s Marquee. With all of his performances Kaskade has earned $16 million in 2013.
11. Steve Aoki – $50,000-$75,000 per show
Steve Aoki has been busy in 2013. He did nearly 270 performances, some of those even were on the same day. He started his record label Dim Mak, several restaurants and several nightclubs.
